Bequests

Leave a legacy that will help make wishes come true for future generations of children by remembering the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Metro New York in your will or living trust.

You may choose to leave a specific dollar amount, designate a percentage of your estate or give the gift of specific property such as real estate or shares of stock.  Here is sample language for a bequest:

“I give and bequeath to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro New York, a not-for-profit corporation with principal offices located at 1111 Marcus Avenue, Suite LL22, Lake Success, NY, 11042, the sum of $_______ (or % of estate or description of assets) for its general charitable purposes.”

As a charitable organization under IRS code 501(c)(3), bequests to the Make-A-Wish Foundation are free from federal estate taxes.  Our tax identification number is 11-2645641.
