sure knows how to pack a lot of fun into one week. The youngster, who is diagnosed with aplastic anemia, made the most of every minute of his wish trip on the Disney Magic®
Cruise Ship. Sailing with his mom, brother and uncle, Noah had the time of his life.
He began his journey like a true VIP. An elegant limousine picked up Noah and his family for his first ever limousine ride. According to his mom, Celia, the driver kept Noah engaged in conversation as they drove to the airport, which made her son feel extremely special. But the limousine ride was just the start of the fun.
Noah enjoyed each and every experience that came his way during the cruise. He especially loved the ship’s brand new attraction, AquaDunk, an exhilarating three-story body slide. He zoomed through the 212-foot-long translucent tube - which curves 20 feet out over the side of the ship (and the ocean) - to an unforgettable splashdown back on deck.
The family took advantage of the time the ship was docked in different ports to go on island excursions. Noah loved the gorgeous waterfalls of St. Lucia, the natural beauty of St. Kits, and the hidden caves of Barbados. He even swam with stingrays! So much activity requires some relaxing time as well. Noah rested at the end of each day, but not before he looked for the daily surprises in his cabin. Among the delights were chocolate-covered strawberries, cookies, and other delicious snacks.
Noah and his family had an amazing time, and they frequently reminisce about the joy and excitement they felt throughout their journey. Noah says it was the best trip he ever had in his life. He misses the ship, the crew and the friends that he met. It was an unbelievable experience and according to Noah, “Make-A-Wish® is like a fairy godmother. They help make dreams come true!”
