Manager, Medical, Community and Volunteer Engagement - New York, NY
This position is responsible for the design, development and implementation of a comprehensive volunteer program for the chapter. This includes recruiting, assessing, orienting, assisting, communicating with, acknowledging, and retaining volunteers within the onboarding process. He/she will assist with organizing community events, trainings and gatherings of community councils. This position will support the functions of the Interactive Medical Eligibility portal within the Wish and Volunteer Center.

He/she is to act as a member of the team in supporting coworkers and supervisors in accomplishing the chapter objective set forth by the Director, Medical, Community and Volunteer Engagement, COO and CEO.

Manager, Community Fundraising - New York, NY
This individual is a valuable member of the Development Team and is the “right hand” to the Director, Special Events & Community Fundraising. The portfolio includes fundraising events and activities in the community as well as school and workplace fundraising. With a focus on supporting volunteer fundraisers in the community, this individual will bring leadership, digital interface expertise, vision and best practices to the Community Fundraising portfolio. This Manager is focused on retaining existing volunteer fundraiser relationships and seeking new ones as well as improving the overall volunteer fundraiser experience. This position is poised for growth. This individual is detail-oriented and has excellent relationship building skills as well as skills in the realm of digital fundraising. This position will have the support of other Special Event & Community Fundraising colleagues. The portfolio currently raises in the range of $2 million and this role will be vital to achieving this goal.

Coordinator, Wish Relationship - BILINGUAL - New York, NY
The Wish Relationship Coordinator is responsible for the fulfillment of the wish experience for our wish families. The Wish Relationship Coordinator works within the Relationship Team to be the main point of contact for the wish child/family. They are responsible for building relationships with families, volunteers, and other Wish Granting and Volunteer Support team members.

The Wish Relationship Coordinator must be fiscally responsible by utilizing budget guidance for each individual wish experience, building relationships with team members and volunteers, coaching volunteers, and obtaining in-kind donations to offset final cash expense in conjunction with other departments and chapter leadership.

Associate, Wish Assessment and Relationship - BILINGUAL - New York, NY
The Associate, Wish Assessment and Relationship implements the mission of Make-A-Wish by assessing the readiness of the family and volunteers to actively work with the wish coordination team.  This position helps identify the wish and the participants to ensure they meet chapter and national wish granting guidelines and manages family expectations around such decisions.  This role also assesses underlying family and health circumstances and cultural norms that may impact the team’s ability to fulfill the child’s wish experience.  This position is key to managing the flow of new wishes by identifying possible barriers and support in wish delivery in addition to enhancing volunteer training.  This position also carries a caseload as part of the wish relationship team.

Coordinator, Wish Logistics - BILINGUAL - New York, NY
The Coordinator, Wish Logistics is responsible for coordinating the process of granting impactful wishes to eligible children. This includes planning, logistic details, scheduling, researching opportunities, adhering to deadlines, liaising with vendors, communicating with families and children, interacting with volunteers and stakeholders, coaching volunteers and interpreting policies and guidelines. Works with oversight and guidance from the Manager, Wish Logistics.
